CHC43315 Certificate IV in Mental Health has been structured around making our students’ lives easier. The course is delivered with a mix of live-online, face-to-face training and on-campus events in flexible sessions held on weekends and evenings.

The live-online aspect of the course allows students to interact and engage from the comfort of their own homes, all that is needed is an internet connection and a device capable of running Zoom for our interactive online classes.

Our on-campus events are held at the main campus as well as a beautiful, purpose-made Bush Campus that allows for practical classes, group work, cultural awareness sessions and mental health programs. These sessions take place in Wanneroo.

Weekly, online class times:

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5.30 pm to 9 pm
Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 am to 5.30 pm

Learning to work with clients' alcohol and drug problems, those at risk of suicide, making holistic health assessments and working with others for client welfare

CHC43315 - Certificate IV in Mental Health Course Price

The cost of this course before State Government funding is $4,800. Western Australian residents are eligible for the subsidies listed below.*

Concession Rate

Free in 2024 for WA residents.

Non-Concession Rate

Free in 2024 for WA residents.

*To be eligible for the Government subsidy you must reside in Western Australia and be an Australian Citizen or hold an eligible visa. Contact our Student Support Officer for more information. The Student tuition fees are indicative only and are subject to change
given individual circumstances at enrolment. Additional fees may apply such as
Student service and resource fees.

Entry Requirements

As with all government-accredited courses, entry-level requirements regarding literacy and numeracy skills exist when enrolling.

If you have a certified;

  • Year 12 certificate of education
    OR
  • Certificate III or higher qualification (e.g. certificate IV, bachelor’s degree, etc.)

Then provide us a copy of them, and you will have met your literacy and numeracy skills entry requirements.

If you don’t have such qualifications, let us know, and we will arrange for you to take an entry assessment to qualify.

Please note this course has a minimum age requirement of 18.

Speak to our Student Co-ordinator about Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) which is available to students who have industry experience relevant to the units of competency in the course.
